The largest Wi-Fi internet community

With BT FON, any BT Home Hub customer can opt in to the world’s largest wireless internet community. By joining up you can share Wi-Fi with other members then borrow their Wi-Fi when you are away from home.

To build awareness of the service we created the World’s Biggest Mexican Wave microsite. The more people who join BT FON, the better it gets. Just like a Mexican Wave. Wi-Fi for Everyone.

Waves can be uploaded via webcam, mobile phone or the Facebook Battle of the Fans application. We also made this how-to film.

The waves can be searched under different categories. If you search under “Bizarre”, “Teens”, “South England”, “Male”, “Wolverhampton Wanderers” you will find Aaron.

To  give the wave some team rivalry we created this Battle of the Fans Facebook application whereby you can load yourself and your friends into the wave. Unfortunately for Charlton art imitates life as they are not doing too well on this league table either.
